Changes to our Therapeutic Team

Siegfried Gutbrod has recently decided to step down from his role as therapeutic director with The Gawler Cancer Foundation, and will continue as a therapist and program facilitator in our cancer programs, alongside Paul and Maia Bedson.

The Foundation recognises and thanks Siegfried (or Siggy, as he is affectionately known within our community) for his time and effort overseeing the therapeutic team over the past 5 years, and his dedication to ensuring first class program content and delivery.

The Foundation would also like to extend a very warm welcome to Dr Sanjay Raghav (MBBS, MD, DM, FRACP Certified Level 2 Yoga Teacher) into the role of therapeutic director.

Dr Sanjay Raghav brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to The Gawler Cancer Foundation. He is an adjunct senior lecturer at Monash University, the assigned neurologist for the Australian Defence Forces and a supervisor and mentor to RACP trainees. Sanjay is the Senior Consultant Neurologist at the Monash Medical Centre and Frankston Hospital, and has been the Director at Dandenong Neurology since 2007.

As an active member of Australian Integrative Medicine Association (AIMA), he has a keen interest in holistic living, and enjoys teaching patients how to enrich their lives through an integrative approach to health and wellbeing.
