Overcoming MS Retreat
Multiple sclerosis is an inflammatory disease of the central nervous system. It is a chronic, typically progressive and unpredictable disease, often striking those with most of their life ahead of them. Fortunately with dedicated lifestyle modification and effective support it is indeed possible to halt the progression of MS.
The ‘Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis’ teachings are based upon Professor Jelinek’s scientific research, clinical experience and profound insight, as well as the Yarra Valley Living Centre’s 30 years of experience in lifestyle medicine and self-help healing programs.
During this retreat program you will acquire the techniques, lifestyle changes and prescribed medical management practices that, when combined, may stabilise MS and potentially enable recovery.
This practical and inspirational 4-night retreat is run by a team of expert facilitators, including medical professional Dr Sam Gartland, who has overcome his own diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis using these same strategies.
