Corporate Support

As a charitable, not-for-profit organisation that receives no government funding, we rely on the support of the community, corporate and philanthropic groups to be able to continue to support and empower people living with cancer through the delivery of our educational retreat programs.

There are many ways that organisations like yours can support us, from sponsorship, to workplace giving, to hosting a fundraising event, or donating products & services, much needed funds, or volunteering your time…

All acts of support, big or small, go a long way to helping us continue our life-enhancing work.

Thank you.

And if you don’t yet offer Workplace Giving, perhaps you would like to learn more about it?

Workplace Giving is a simple and effective way system for employees to be able to make regular donations to the charity of their choice, and it has no affect on gross income, superannuation payments or fringe benefits.

Employees simply nominate their preferred charity from the selection provided as part of your Workplace Giving Program and then they specify an amount they would like to donate in each pay cycle. The donations are then deducted, before-tax, through your normal payroll system, and donations are forwarded on to the charity as a lump sum.

The following is some information from the Australian Taxation Office about the community benefits of Workplace Giving Programs:

For employers, workplace giving can provide a low cost, administratively simple way of creating community/business partnerships and building employee morale, by mobilising significant funding and volunteer involvement.

For employees, workplace giving is affordable, through a transparent and trustworthy program, with no costly fundraising activities. Employees can make donations in an efficient and tax-effective manner, eliminating the need to collect receipts or wait until the end of the year to claim a tax refund.

For charitable organisations, workplace giving provides long term, stable funding for core programs. This funding has little or no administrative cost – there are no receipts to issue and no costs associated with targeted communications to attract donors.
