I am an accomplished Nutritional Biochemist and Food Technologist with over thirty plus years experience in a commercial environment, specialising in new product development in grain and dairy based foods, for different geographies, ethnicities and cultural backgrounds.
I have represented Australia at several International Forums on the dual benefits of a legume rich diet (to mankind and mother earth) and presented technical papers at national and international conferences & Symposiums on Post Harvest Quality of Grains and Value addition from Paddock to Plate.
I am a member of the Advisory Board of Deakin University’s Faculty of Food & Nutrition representing the Food industries, assisting the Faculty in tailoring courses to make Deakin students ‘Job Ready’.
I have mentored over 20 postgraduate students through their varsity and help realise their professional dreams.
I believe the saying, ‘you are what you eat’ has a lot more merit than originally expected when the phrase was coined. The benefits of fresh, natural, minimally processed, wholesome, plant-based, chemical-free food cannot be overemphasised in today’s fast paced, time poor societies. Healthy eating is an important part of the holistic approach to good health and wellbeing, and I like to practice it at all times.
