Specific Data Protection Policy for OMS Resources

Due to a generous benefactor, the Yarra Valley Living Centre’s webstore (at gawler.org/shop) currently offers the following Multiple Sclerosis resources, Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis and/or Recovering from Multiple Sclerosis, free of charge to people living in Australia and New Zealand.

Recipients of this offer should be aware that their contact information will be passed on to the Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis charity, which was founded by the author of these resources, Professor George Jelinek.

The purpose of providing this data to the Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis charity,  is so that recipients who are following the recommendations made in these resources can receive ongoing community-based support.

Recipients can be assured that data is stored securely at the Yarra Valley Living Centre and also the Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis charity offices, and that both organisations maintain the highest level of integrity and security, and treat personal data with absolute discretion.

The Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis operates within the framework of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), which became law across Europe on 25th May 2018.

If you have any questions or concerns about this policy, please do not hesitate to contact the Yarra Valley Living Centre directly by calling 03 5967 5400, or emailing marketing@gawler.org.

In line with current restrictions on public gatherings in Victoria, some of our Mar, Apr, May, Jun, July and August programs have been moved to the second half of 2020 - new dates can now be found on our What's On Calendar. We are hopeful that will be able to resume our retreats and trainings soon, however, we continue to be led by the advice of the government. In the meantime, participants are fully protected by our flexible transfer and cancellation policy.Click here to browse our What's On Calendar.
