Parenting with Presence Online Workshops

In this transformational 3-part online workshop series, mindful parenting experts Suzanne Marambio and Amanda Spencer will empower you with conscious parenting tools and mindfulness techniques to strengthen and nurture your relationship with yourself and cultivating a happier and healthier relationship with your child/ren.

Workshop 1, Tuesday 6th October, 7:30-9pm
Intro into Parenting with Presence
Click here to book for Workshop 1 only

This workshop has been designed to awaken you to your parenting style and what actions you can take to improve your relationship with yourself and your child.

  • Understand the definition of Parenting with Presence
  • Identifying your triggers and how they affect your behaviour
  • Learn how to Parent with Presence by understanding the 4 Keys to conscious parenting:

Key 1. Mindfulness
Key 2. Self Care
Key 3. Parenting the Self and
Key 4. Connecting to your Child’s Essence

When these 4 keys are combined and cultivated you will begin to heal your inner wounds and strengthen and improve your relationship with your child.

Workshop 2, Tuesday 13th October, 7:30-9pm
Establishing Parenting with Presence
Click here to book for Workshop 2 only

This workshop has been designed to transform your ideas around parenting and how connection is the most important tool in our parenting toolbox.

  • Connecting rather than Correcting your child
  • Taking time for Self Care
  • The 3 Tools of Parenting with Presence
    • Tool 1 – Awareness
    • Tool 2 – Acceptance
    • Tool 3 – Action

When you start using these tools you will awaken to your parenting oversights and start changing the way you respond to your child.  As you will start to understand that your child’s behaviour isn’t “naughty” but a form of communication.

When parents become aware of their triggers and behaviour this then empowers them to make a conscious change to their response.  If they can accept what is happening in a non-judgemental way then they will have the choice to decide what action they want to take.

Workshop 3, Tuesday 20th October, 7:30-9pm
The Importance of Self Care for Parents
Click here to book for Workshop 3 only

This workshop has been designed to help parents see the value in self care and supply them with the tools to implement positive self-care into their lives.

  • What is Self Care?
  • The Importance of Self Care
  • Positive and Negative Self Care Habits
  • How to Fill Up Your Cup
  • Creating a Self Care PlanSelf Care is a key tool that a parent needs to be implementing to be able to feel contentment and steady in them self, so that they can be fully available to support their child’s needs.  A parent cannot serve others from an empty cup so they must look after their own needs before they can look after others.

It is important to realise that self care is a practise of loving the self and showing others that you have value and your needs are important.

If we want our children to love and value themselves then it is our duty to model this behaviour to them.
