Meditation in the Forest
Learn, practise and experience the heart of meditation and the bliss and contentment that comes with deep, natural peace. Break through into a deeper level of relaxation, clarity of mind and insight. This retreat includes general teaching on meditation, specific instruction on the practices of contemplation, guided practise sessions, time for questions, optional walking meditations and yoga, along with high quality plant-based food and free time.
Ian Gawler OAM, Founder of The Gawler Cancer Foundation. Ian has played a major role in pioneering and popularising meditation and other mind-body techniques in the Western world. A powerful advocate of a healthy lifestyle, Ian co-founded the world’s first lifestyle-based cancer and multiple sclerosis self-help groups, authored six bestselling books and is known for his clarity and good humour.
Dr Ruth Gawler MBBS, MGPPsych, FASPM is a GP with a special interest in mind-body medicine, yoga and meditation. Ruth has a long-term interest in how the mind determines the choices we make, the reactions we have, and the ways in which we process information and energy. She is passionately interested in helping people.
Cost: Starting from $1,990 per person (including GST), depending on your choice of accommodation. This cost covers all elements of the program, including delicious organic plant-based wholefood meals, snacks, freshly squeezed juices, herbal teas and dandelion coffee.
